While training in the wasteland, a strange crack appeared in the sky. It pulled Piccolo and Gotenks inside with a violent tug.

'What is happening to us?' shouted Gotenks as they tumbled through a swirling vortex of colors.

They landed hard on a piece of floating stone. Around them, thousands of ruined planet chunks drifted in a dark, empty void.

'Stay alert,' warned Piccolo, scanning the shadows. 'This place feels wrong. Gravity is shifting everywhere.'

A hooded figure emerged from the darkness. It was the Dimensional Warden, holding a staff made of jagged shadow-magic.

'Welcome to my maze,' hissed the Warden. 'You shall stay here forever as trophies of my collection.'

The Warden tapped his staff, and the ground suddenly tilted. Massive blocks of rock began to rotate and shift into a complex maze.

'He is controlling the ruins with magic!' said Piccolo. 'We have to move before we get crushed.'

Gotenks stood tall, his hair spiking up. 'I am not afraid of a shadow-man! Super Saiyan power, activate!'

He surged with golden energy, his eyes turning fierce as his power level climbed higher.

Gotenks clapped his hands together, releasing a swarm of tiny, glowing ghosts. 'Go, my Super Ghosts! Find us a safe path!'

The ghosts zipped around the moving ruins, acting like scouts to spot danger before anyone else could.

One ghost bumped into a fake block, causing it to shoot energy beams. 'Good job, ghost!' Gotenks laughed.

'Focus, Gotenks,' Piccolo commanded. 'My telepathy can sense the exit, but the Warden is blocking my path with illusions.'

They leaped from rock to rock. The Warden unleashed shadow-tentacles to stop them, but the ghosts distracted the dark magic.

'Look out!' yelled Piccolo, pointing to a ledge that was about to vanish into the abyss.

The path ahead seemed blocked by a massive, spinning pillar of stone. The Warden's voice echoed throughout the dimension.

'You will never find the portal!' mocked the Warden.

Piccolo closed his eyes, using his mind to map the shifts. 'The pillar moves every ten seconds, Gotenks. We have to dash together!'

'I am ready!' Gotenks shouted, gathering energy in his hands to blow past the obstacle.

They darted through the pillar just as it clicked into a new position. The Warden growled in frustration.

'Your teamwork is annoying,' the Warden muttered as he threw a storm of shadow-daggers.

Gotenks flew in front of Piccolo, swatting the daggers away with golden ki blasts. 'I have got your back, Piccolo!'

'Thanks, kid. Keep that energy steady,' Piccolo replied, sensing the portal's faint hum nearby.

They reached a bridge made of floating, unstable plates. Each plate shifted when touched.

'Use the ghosts!' Piccolo whispered. The ghosts landed on the plates, making them stabilize for a second.

The Warden appeared directly in their way, growing to the size of a giant. 'You cannot escape my dimension!'

'Oh yeah? Watch this!' Gotenks powered up even further, creating a massive Super Ghost Kamikaze attack.

The army of glowing ghosts surrounded the giant Warden, making him laugh uncontrollably until his shadow-form became unstable.

'My magic! It is losing its grip!' the Warden cried as his size began to shrink.

Piccolo saw the portal crackling in the distance. It was shrinking fast. 'The gate is closing! We have to go now!'

They jumped toward the swirling light, leaving the confused Warden behind in the dark maze.

The gravity shifted violently as they sprinted toward the portal. Pieces of the ruins broke away and floated into the abyss.

'Almost there!' yelled Gotenks, gripping his chest. 'The air is getting thin!'

Piccolo grabbed Gotenks by the cape and hurled him forward. 'Go! Use your speed to burst through the barrier!'

'I am going to make it!' Gotenks shouted, flying with all his might into the light.

Piccolo followed closely behind, diving into the swirling energy just as the portal began to seal shut.

'We made it!' he shouted as the familiar light of their own world finally appeared.

They tumbled onto the soft grass of the wasteland, exhausted but safe. The crack in the sky vanished without a trace.

'That was a close one,' Gotenks panted. 'At least we do not have to worry about the ghost-hating shadow-man anymore!'

'Let us just get home,' Piccolo sighed, smiling faintly. 'No more inter-dimensional trips for today.'
