Goku and Hit stood between the stars, traveling from Universe 7 toward Universe 6. The space between worlds was usually quiet, but today it felt strange.

Suddenly, the sky tore open like a piece of paper. 'What is that?' Goku asked, squinting into the purple crack in reality.

Hit narrowed his eyes, his senses alert. 'It is a rift,' he replied, his voice calm but firm. 'Something from a destroyed reality is leaking through.'

Out of the shadows crawled beings that looked just like them. But they were made of flickering static and dark smoke.

The Glitch-Clones moved in strange ways. They would jump forward, then snap backward in time, making them impossible to track.

'Watch out!' Goku shouted as a Glitch-Clone zipped past his shoulder, stuttering in and out of existence.

Hit stepped forward, his eyes glowing. 'They are moving in loops,' he explained. 'But they cannot escape my Time-Skip.'

He raised his hand, and the world paused. For a split second, the clones froze perfectly still in the air.

Goku knew he needed more power to fight these ghosts. He took a deep breath, and his hair turned a brilliant, shimmering blue.

'Super Saiyan Blue!' Goku cheered. His divine aura lit up the dark, empty void, revealing hidden trails left by the glitching rift.

The bright light of Goku's aura made the Glitch-Clones shriek. They hated the pure energy. 'Keep them busy, Hit!' Goku yelled.

'Understood,' Hit replied. He moved with grace, striking the frozen clones and shattering them into harmless pixels of light.

They fought together, moving through the shifting void. With every hit they landed, the rift seemed to grow smaller and less angry.

'We have to find the source,' Goku said, pointing toward a pulsing, black orb hovering at the center of the tear.

The Rift Core pulsed with a heartbeat of dark energy. It was pulling the two universes closer together, which could be very dangerous.

'If they touch, everything will be erased,' Hit warned. 'We must act quickly.'

Waves of energy crashed against them as they flew toward the center. The Glitch-Clones tried to stop them, but they were no match for the team.

'Together!' Goku shouted, preparing a blue orb of energy in his hands. Hit charged his own invisible strike beside him.

The two heroes fired their power at the same time. The bright blue light of Goku combined with the invisible pressure of Hit's strike.

'It is working!' Goku grinned as the energy hit the core, causing it to glow brighter and brighter.

The core began to shake violently. The glitching static started to fade away, replaced by the soft, warm light of the distant stars.

'Don't let up now!' Hit commanded. He pushed his power further, pinning the core in a permanent time-stasis.

The reality-tear shrieked as it started to close. Goku pushed with all his might, his Super Saiyan Blue aura blazing like a sun.

'We can do this!' Goku shouted. The pressure was immense, but he loved a good challenge.

The Glitch-Clones dissolved completely, turning into tiny sparkles. They were finally gone, and the rift was almost sealed shut.

'The exit is shrinking,' Hit noticed. 'We must finish this before it closes on us.'

Goku nodded. 'On three! One, two, three!' They unleashed the final burst of power, a combined wave that shook the foundations of reality.

The light was so bright it turned the black void into a beautiful sea of white, shining energy.

The core shattered into a thousand pieces. The rift folded in on itself, knitting reality back together piece by piece.

'It is closing,' Hit said, watching the edges of the tear seal up completely, leaving no trace behind.

Goku powered down, his hair turning back to black. He wiped his forehead and laughed. 'That was a tough one, Hit!'

Hit relaxed his stance and nodded. 'It was efficient. Your energy proved useful in this struggle.'

The quiet of the multiverse returned. The two worlds were safe again, and no one would ever know how close they came to disappearing.

'Are you headed back to Universe 6?' Goku asked, stretching his arms high above his head.

Hit turned to look at the path toward his home universe. 'Yes. The work is finished here. We have done our part.'

He began to walk through the empty space, his long coat flowing behind him as if he were walking on solid ground.

Goku waved goodbye. 'We should spar for real sometime, Hit! When things are a little less glitchy!'

Hit paused for a moment and gave a small, rare smirk. 'Perhaps one day, Goku. Until then, stay sharp.'

Goku flew back toward Earth, feeling proud of his day. He knew that no matter what happened, he would always be there to protect the multiverse.

The stars shone brightly as he vanished into the distance. The mystery was solved, and peace was restored at last.
